It is easy to give money to a good cause, but the time and effort offered by the wonderful people in this program is far more valuable.

very emotional, The information was very informative and the choice of music was perfect. I know from experience the emotional empowerment pets make within our body and minds.

This is a lovely short film highlighting a need in the community that is being fulfilled by the fabulous Care Pet carers. So lovely to see the smiles on the faces of the elderly that they visit and to see the pride in the carers faces. Well done Craig and the rest of the Carers!

Great - I work in an aged care facility and know how much pleasure the older person gets from having a visit from a pet and their owners.

This is a worthy program with volunteers enjoying an opportunity to share their love of animals with others and offering those who are frail and in need of tender care an interaction with others such as people and pet owners. The disabled gain a sense of pride by sharing their love to their pet with others. Well done.

This film has highlighted an excellent program. Not only are the pets valued by the elderly and sick but the carepet carers feel valued by the work they do.

Sylvia Brew from Bowral posted on 8 Oct 2012 9:43:58 PM
It is so lovely to see the reaction of elderly people to pets which somehow seem to be able to get through to even those who can no longer recognise their loved ones. This is such a wonderful program because it brings such joy to the owners as well as those being visited. Great to see Naomi engaging with people in her community.

This Is A Terrific Idea! It's A Great Way To Help Those With Suitable Dogs To Interact With Others In The Community On A Much Greater Level Than Taking A Dog For A Walk. It Gives An Immence Amount Of Confidence And Imput Into The Community For Both The Owner And The People They Visit.
