Lyndee Allan from Auckland New Zealand posted on 23 Jun 2018 11:19:52 AM Kate youve come such a long way since you were sucked into the black hole that is CRPS. Your incredible courage and the insight you've shown in your film have helped you fight your way back. Your film shows just some of the challenges that people with visible and invisible disability have to cope with. Im so impressed that youve been able to share some of what youve learnt through your experience even as you continue to face challenges others cant see. Im sure your perspectives will help people to understand some of the difficulties associated with visible and invisible disability and inspire those who are living with it.
Javeria Adnan from Auckland NZ New Zealand posted on 21 Jun 2018 10:12:03 AM You have done a splendid job Kate. You showed the struggles that anyone would face whether visible or invisible injury. Everyone would feel like giving up thinking they had no purpose despite the love and everything else. So you truly show in this short film how Alex made her journey from being handicapped and handicapped from dealing with life to fighting back and getting out there. Splendid job Kate
Joy Jagiello from Waiukui New Zealand posted on 21 Jun 2018 6:13:21 AM Invisible injury is to me the more difficult dis-ability to deal with - for everyone. The difficulty that Alex and her sister had connecting despite their love illuminates the wider difficulty to deal with - for everyone. Courageous Kate tells it like it is.
