Our Favourite F-Words, made by Mahinawa Specialist School (New Zealand, 2020), offers a warm, respectful glimpse into the everyday world of a specialist school community. The short film highlights themes of independence, learning practical skills, and the joyful social life of children and teenagers, along with the vital role teachers play in supporting growth. Shot with care, it celebrates the abilities and achievements of young people with intellectual disability without spectacle or pity.
