More than just a Disability

About this Short Film

More than just a Disability (2021) by Tiffany Liu is a thoughtful Australian short that highlights the everyday lives and talents of young people with cerebral palsy. It presents a group setting where physical disability and wheelchair use are part of ordinary social life. The film does not reduce people to a label, but shows how identity, community and ability overlap in surprising ways. Short and direct, it fits the Focus on Ability International Short Film Festival by celebrating achievement and sharing honest experiences. Festival audiences will find it warm, respectful and quietly powerful, a clear example of telling disability stories with dignity.
