I really appreciated the juxtaposition between the opening sequence where the audience is viewing everything from the perspective of someone with PD. The ground is shaky and there is this sense of anxiety in the intent focus on each step forward. It feels very much as if the world and her interactions with it are at first defined by what PD often dictates that you can or cant do. When we get to the end after flashes of familial support and personal persistence were finally taken behind Linda seeing her in her full storming ahead into the world. This sends a really powerful message about personal resilience and the importance of claiming autonomy in the face of a diagnosis like PD.
A beautiful moving inspiring film about the importance of family perseverance loving support and finding one's own voice and path when facing difficulties. As it depicts a miracle made of small tangible miracles this film is an invitation to always hope and remember that we are always more than statistics. And that we can provide encouragement to others. Anyone watching this movie will get a spring in their step.
It's a great film that depicts the tension between what is told tosomebody about a potential future and then grace showing up to build a different one against all odds. We must all remember that prophecy is meant to edify to build up .. not to cast down. And that love prevails in the end.

Confronting sad yet so empowering were i think may describe my feelings watching this doc. Congratulations Linda for having the 'guts' to put yourself out there Encountering a story such as this I found changed the way I saw the walkers I see every morning going to work. Some marching at such a pace it seemed they needed to forget something and me thinking 'i wish they would slow down I feel warn out watching'. Some hobbling along in a way I feel pain watching and thinking why are they putting themselves through this' Now I have a new understanding of the term 'the power of walking'. walking should never be questioned as a healing power.thank you regards Rose
