About this Short Film
My Integration Experience, a short film by Steven Fletcher from Australia (2025), explores questions around integration, education and inclusion in the context of disability. It highlights experiences linked to cerebral palsy and cognitive processing disability without presuming a single story. Presented as part of the Focus on Ability International Short Film Festival, the film sits among works that celebrate ability, resilience and the everyday realities people face. Expect a thoughtful, grounded approach that invites reflection on individual needs and the systems around them. This piece will appeal to audiences interested in honest, human portrayals of disability and the ongoing conversations about access and belonging.
