About this Short Film
The Power of Support (Cranebrook High School, Australia, 2025) explores how young people experience school, friendship and care when living with cerebral palsy and cognitive processing differences. Short and grounded, the film offers shifting viewpoints on how groups see and support one another, and how perception shapes everyday moments. It does not assume a single story but invites viewers to consider challenges and small acts of kindness that matter in a teenager's life. A thoughtful entry in the Focus on Ability festival, it highlights ability, resilience and the value of listening to varied perspectives within a school community.

That was amazing all of you should be proud.
As their teacher I couldnt be prouder of this years film. Madison and Anakin worked together to plan film and edit combining Madisons creativity with Anakins practical skills. Our other students also played an important role helping behind the scenes sharing ideas and keeping spirits high. Every student contributed and were all so proud of what weve created together.
