I love the sensory-rich environment - some great examples of using tactile art and information within easy reach of the learner. Congratulations on a fantastic entry.

Dominic is a remarkable young boy- it is hard to appreciate how far he has come unless you know his back story and how far he has come to be the positive competent young man you see in the video.

Thank you Narbethong teachers for providing such amazing experiences for our children. You allow each child's individiual abilities to take centre stage and provide them with opportunities to reach their potential. This was a very moving film with the opening shots of busy hands reading. Only 6 years old but evidence of exposure to braille dots long before his formal education of learning to read and write. The sheer joy on his face proves how powerful literacy is for a child. Narbethong is to be congratulated for producing such a wonderful movie and for their support of children who are blind and vision impaired.
