About this Short Film
Goalball is a short film from Centenary State High School (Australia, 2021). Made by young filmmakers, it explores themes of blindness and sensory disability within a school and sport setting. I liked the tag at the end about focusing on the ability not the disability. I also learnt something new having never heard of Goal Ball before.
How amazing. For someone like myself who can't imagine life without a sport it is truly amazing that someone has had the imagination to put together something that vision impaired people can partake in. We take so much for granted. Thank you for an insight into this brilliant sport.
