About this Short Film
Have you seen my lunch? by BLENNZ (New Zealand, 2019) is a short film included in the Focus on Ability International Short Film Festival programme. The work explores themes around blindness, sensory and intellectual disability, and the everyday world of teenagers in a school setting. Shot with care, it looks at group dynamics and the small moments that shape young people’s routines and friendships. The film does not aim to define anyone by a label. Instead it offers a thoughtful, grounded glimpse into experiences often unseen, fitting well within a festival that celebrates the abilities and achievements of people with disability.
