About this Short Film
Mission to Marz, a 2019 Australian short by Con Constantinou, joins our Focus on Ability programme. The film explores themes of perception and viewpoint through performance and music, and considers relationships of family and support around congenital and physical disability, including spina bifida and wheelchair use. Strong acting reflects adult experience and varied ways of being, while inviting audiences to listen and look anew. We present it as part of our celebration of work that highlights the abilities, experiences and achievements of people with disability. Expect a concise, thoughtful piece that asks questions more than it answers.
