About this Short Film
One Perfect Day with Brad (Pete White, Australia, 2019) is a short film that speaks to themes of achievement, inclusion and support for young people with disability. Quiet and observant, it explores experiences linked to autism, intellectual and cognitive processing disability, and the role of sport and group activity in building confidence. The film does not rely on grand gestures. Instead it offers moments that feel immediate and genuine, inviting viewers to consider how communities can support children and teenagers to take part and thrive. A natural fit for the Focus on Ability festival, it celebrates practical, everyday achievements and the people who make them possible.
