I have visited the centre a few times with the kids during their school holidays and I am fascinated and impressed with all the hand works of these individuals which are so unique that the kids just loves to play with them. These initiatives are so important to provide empathy and compassion for those living with a disability. Sharing their triumphs and achievements provides them with a voice personal pride confidence and growth For my brother Damien who has Down Syndrome he is able to tap into his world of loving Sci fi movies. Damien has always been into sci-fi Star Trek Dr Who and Star Wars. He has really found building miniature robots fun and rewarding So great that the documentary of Damien's journey with the team at Caringbah craft has been captured in this documentary. We need more people like Shaun Ferguson who want to make a difference to the lives of people with a disability Good luck team with your entry.

Over several years I have purchased many items from the Caringbah Craft Centre and still have many items that my children are currently playing with that Johan and his friendly team made. Early this year l was last there and I can recall the enthusiasm and excitement as the idea of the Robot Project was in it beginning stages. Its wonderful watching your video to see how it all worked out and it also greatly saddened me to hear of the loss of such a great man who was always friendly passionate and dedicated to his work.Thank you for your video

I'm a support worker. One of my clients has just started going to the Caringbah Craft Centre. He absolutely loves it. The staff there are phenomenal and so wonderful. I saw first-hand what these gentlemen make and how much fun they have together with the staff and each other. Also how proud they are in what they've achieved. Thank you to the staff that dedicate their time and knowledge to helping these men reach their goals and at the same time bond some wonderful friendships. Sean and Jess you are both beautiful souls.
