«እማ አባ አስደሳሽ ዜና አለኝ። እጮኛዬ ሽማግሌዎችን በመላክ ለትዳር ለመጠየቅ አስባለ አለ።»
«ልያ፣ ምን እያልሽ ነው? ስለዚህ ሰው እርግጠኛ ነሽ? ግን ማየት የማትችልን ሴት የሚወድ ይመስልሻል?»
«እርግጠኛ ነኝ። ወዶሽ አይደለም። ለገዛሽ ብሎ እንጂ አይ፣ አባ፣ በማንነቴ ይወዳኛል፣ ይረዳኛል። በሚያጋጥሙኝ ፈታኝ ጊዜዎች ይደግፈኛል። እንዴት እርግጠኛ ሁን? እሱ እውነተኛ መሆኑን እንዳየሽ ነው። እኮ እያወራሽ ያለሺው ፍቅር እይታ ብቻ አይደለም። እማማ የሱን እውነተኛነት ማወቅ እችላለው። ለኔ ባለው ሃሳብ ላንቺ የሚበጀውን እኛ እናቃለን።»
ልጄ ስትታለል ማየት አልችልም። ወይዘሮ ሰላም ተነስታ በንዴት ወጣች። ልብሽን መስሎ እንደማፈልግ ታያለሽ። «ማን ሞላች በልጁ ላይ እንዲደርስበት አይፈቅድም፣ ግን አንዳንድ ግዜ ቃ መግባት አለብህ። ይሄንን ቀብቼ አንቀበልም።»
«ግን አባ አዝኛለሁ?»
አቶ ተስፋዬ እና ሊያ ለአጭር ጊዜ በጸጥታ ተቀመጡ። አቶ ተስፋዬ የልጁን ፊት ቀና ብሎ ተመለከተ። በስጭትና ሃዘን ፊቱ ላይ ይታያል።
ክፍሉን ለቆጣ ምን መሆን ነበረበት? የልያ ወላጆች እጮኛቸው ለጋብቻ ለመጠየቅ ሽማግሌዎችን እንደሚልቅ ስታስታውቅ ፊታቸው በደስታ ተሞላ። ሊያ የሰርግ ፎቶዎቻቸውን እየተነሱ ፈገግታቸው ደማቅና በደስታ የተሞላ ሲሆን እንመለከታለን። ሊያ እና ባለቤቷ ከሁለት ልጆቻቸው ጋር በደስታ እና በሣቅ እየተላፉ ሲጫወቱ ይታያሉ።
አካል ጉዳተኞች እድሜያቸው ለጋብቻ በደረሰ ጊዜ ነጻና ሙሉ ፈቃዳቸውን በመስጠት ጋብቻና ቤተሰብ የመመስረት መብት አላቸው። መንግስትና ሁሉም የሚመለከታቸው አካላት ከጋብቻ ጋር በተገናኘ የሚጸባረቁ አሉታዊ አመለካከቶችን ጨምሮ በአካል ጉዳተኞች ላይ የሚደርሰውን መድሎ ለማስወገድ ተገቢ እርምጃዎችን መውሰድ አለባቸው።
