About this Short Film
In a remote rural community of Ethiopia, a young boy dreams of becoming a pilot someday. One afternoon, he watches other children happily playing with paper airplanes and becomes fascinated by them. Inspired, he rushes home and tries to make one himself, but despite his efforts, he cannot figure out how. Determined to have a paper airplane of his own, the boy quietly sneaks out of his house and begins a journey through his village in search of someone who can help him. Along the way, he asks a young man to make a paper plane for him, but the young man dismisses and ignores him. Feeling disappointed but unwilling to give up, the boy continues searching until he meets a disabled man sitting by the roadside. Unlike everyone else, the man welcomes the boy with kindness. He carefully folds a piece of paper and creates a beautiful paper airplane. Overjoyed, the boy takes the plane and runs home, carrying not only a toy but also a renewed belief in his dream. Years later, that little boy grows up and fulfills his ambition of becoming a pilot. One weekend, while looking at his pilot's cap, he remembers the disabled man whose small act of kindness helped inspire him when he was a child. Filled with gratitude, he finds the man and gifts him the pilot's cap as a symbol of respect and appreciation.
