About this Short Film
Vogue is a vibrant and empowering dance film set to Vogue by Madonna, following a diverse ensemble of dancers with learning disabilities as they explore identity, self-expression, and the desire to be truly seen. Through stylised choreography, striking visual imagery, and the use of trestle masks, colourful wigs, bold eye masks, and costume transformations, the film examines the different personas people adopt to protect, perform, or conceal themselves. As layers are gradually removed, moments of raw honesty and connection emerge, revealing the individuality, confidence, vulnerability, and joy of each performer. Blending glamour, authenticity, and celebration, Vogue becomes a powerful statement on inclusion, empowerment, and the freedom to step into the spotlight unapologetically as oneself.
