David Radcliffe

David Radcliffe

David Radcliff is one of very few WGA writers with disabilities currently working in television.

Prior to joining ABC’s Nathan Fillion drama “The Rookie”, David worked as a copywriter, script analyst, brand strategist and speechwriter. His clients have ranged from entertainment giants (Netflix, Amazon, Nickelodeon) to corporate leaders (PayPal, Intuit, AEM) to world-changing nonprofits (City of Hope, The Milken Institute, Southern California Grantmakers).

Born with cerebral palsy, David publicly advocates for equity for people with disabilities in the worlds of business and entertainment, and has spoken on narrative, disability and media for audiences at The Kennedy Centre, HBO, AFI Silverdocs, the Veterans Affairs Office of Los Angeles and elsewhere. He is also an expert judge for the Sentinel Awards, a ceremony held by the Norman Lear Foundation that honours accurate depictions of health and science topics in television. David is a graduate of USC and of UCLA and an alumnus of the Riordan Leadership Institute.
